Sorghum flour, with a delicate flavor, can be used for the preparation of sweet and savory baked goods or in addition to other flours containing gluten. Or in combination with starches, to improve the final consistency of the product.
IS' ideal for mixing cakes, donuts, biscuits, pancakes, bread and savory products in general.
Nutritional supply
In addition to being a good source of energy in our diet (cereals in general should make up at least 60% of the daily nutritional intake with about 330 kcal per 100 g of food), the main component of cereals (and pseudocereals, such as quinoa, amaranth and buckwheat) are complex carbohydrates, which are gradually transformed, during metabolism, into simpler glucose molecules, useful for releasing energy but at the same time useful in not causing a sudden rise in blood sugar levels in the blood (glycemic peak). Furthermore, sorghum does not contain biotechnological elements that make it a transgenic or genetically modified organism.
