Honeydew is produced by small insects that feed on tree sap and secrete honeydew, an element with a characteristic brown color rich in nutrients such as sugars and mineral salts.
Due to its numerous beneficial characteristics (antibacterial, antioxidant, prebiotic activity and high content of mineral salts), honeydew honey can be recommended for daily use, for example as a sweetener just like nectar honey.
