Flour obtained from the milling of the cylinders of the yellow corn. The production process consists in polishing, grinding and calibrating the ideal. This last is characterized by various components such as the groats, the comic, the farinette, the bran and the germ. Each of these products is then intended for precise.
Groats, depending on the particle size (size of granule), are sold for Fioretto (fine) and Bramata (coarse), the bran and the farinette are destined for different purposes; the seed is used for the production of the oil.
Mode' of Use:
Excellent for the production of polenta. The cooking time recommended is 60-90 minutes.
Usually you are 100/120g corn flour per person, to which should be added to 600ml of water and un teaspoon of salt.
